1st Day, Sunday: Panama City
Individual journey to Panama City and transfer to the hotel.
2nd Day, Monday: Panama City Tour
Long city tour through Panama City. You become acquainted with the historical and modern side of this versatile city. In addition you will visit the fish market, where you can enjoy the spectacle of the puffers and get first impressions about the
Panamanian people.
3rd Day, Tuesday: Panama City - David
Morning transfer to the national airport and flight to David. There you will visit a family-owned farm and gain insights in there daily live. If you want, you can ride on a horse and discover the land like a real cowboy.
4th Day, Wednesday: David - Bocas del Toro
In the morning you visit the famous rum factory Carta Vieja. White and brown rum have been produced here since 1914 after a restricted recipe. As basis they use a molasses gained from sugar cane. After the visit you have the opportunity to convince yourself over the quality of Carta Vieja with a taste. In the afternoon you fly from David to the Caribbean paradise Bocas Del Toro. In the town you find nice bars, restaurants and souvenir shops. The atmosphere is all round relaxing and typical Caribbean.
5th Day, Thursday: Bocas del Toro
Today you will discover some of the surrounding islands by a boat tour. You will admire dolphins, go snorkeling in the blue crystal water, discover red frogs and if you want, try different kinds of sea fruits.
6th Day, Friday: Bocas del Toro - Changuinola
The water taxi brings you back to the main land, to Changuinola. In the village you will visit a school and see into the Panamanian school system. Afterwards you will go to the production plants of the Chiquita Banana and adapt everything over the yellow fruit and its production.
7th Day, Saturday: Changuinola - Teribe
Today we bring you to the nearby river El Silencio, from where an 1 hour boat ride upstream to the Teribe Indians starts. The Teribe are one of the native tribes who were able to preserve its culture and tradition until now. After a lunch in the
village you visit the medical garden and the surrounding in the national reserve La Amistad. The rest of the day you spend in the village with the Indians.
8th Day, Sunday: Teribe - Changuinola - Panama City
After the breakfast you return by boat to the landing stage. A bus takes you to the airport of Changuinola,
from where your airplane takes off to Panama City.
End of your journey or beginning of a connecting program.
