1st Day, Saturday: Panama City Arrival in Panama City and transfer to the Hotel Country Inn and Suites El Dorado
2nd Day, Sunday: Panama City - Boquete
After the breakfast you are brought to the national airport and flown to David. From there a guide brings you to Boquete. In the afternoon you can ride the horse and in the meantime enjoy the fresh mountain air on 1200 meters over sea level. Rapidly it becomes clear why this region is designated as the country of the coffee and the flowers.
3rd Day, Monday: Boquete - Volcano Barú - Boquete
With a 4x4 vehicle you will drive up the 3475 meters high volcano Barú. This volcano is for centuries no longer active. The trip leads you through the changing vegetation and very beautiful landscapes. If you are lucky, you can see the Pacific and Atlantic Ocean from the summit. There you will also have lunch. Afterwards you can decide whether you like to return to Boquete by foot or with the vehicle.
4th Day, Tuesday: Boquete - Finca La Suiza - Bocas del Toro
A bus will drive you to the Finca La Suiza, the starting point of your hiking trip. Shortly after, a fantastic hike through the rain forest begins. Over 300 kinds of birds are living in this forest. After this adventurous hike, you will drive to Almirante at the Atlantic Coast with the bus. From there you jump into a boat and drive to the island of Colón, which is around 30 minutes away. Bocas del Toro is an accumulation of numerous idyllic islands with the clear, fish-rich Caribbean sea.
5th Day, Wednesday: Bocas del Toro
Early morning you will discover the Islands with a Kayak and when you are lucky you can admire dolphins. Afterwards you undertake a boat trip to a small local restaurant where you can try out different sea fruits. Coral Key is also a great place for snorkelling. In the afternoon, you go to the Zapatillas beach where you have time for swimming or discovering the island. Then it goes over the Hospital Point back to the main island.
6th Day, Thursday: Bocas del Toro - Teribe
With a 50 minute boat trip in the morning you go to the mainland and drive in a canal to Changuinola. After
arrival, you transfer with a bus to Río Teribe and enjoy there after the approx. one-hour canoe trip river
upwards. After having lunch, you can discover the national reservation "La Amistad" while hiking. You will
see a medicine garden and different kind of birds and will naturally pursue the life of the Indians.
7th Day, Friday: Teribe - Changuinola - Panama City
In the morning, you travel with the canoe back to El Silencio. The bus will drive you to Changuinola, from where you fly to Panama City. End of the journey
